BCL::Align Server
BCL Align is a multiple sequence alignment program. Not only does BCL Align evaluate sequence alignment for a particular set of sequences, the program also has a major advantage in that it is able to take into consideration a variety of customizable parameters such as the protein's chemical properties, transmembrane characteristics, various gap boundaries, and several versions of the protein's secondary structure information. Sequence alignments are determined using the dynamic programming algorithm.
Additional options available in the full release of the BCL. Licenses (including the binary) for academic (free of charge) or commercial users (a fee applies) can be obtained from our BCL license server.
