I’m the system administrator for the laboratory in Leipzig and help my colleagues with their software and hardware issues. At this point in time, I plan and build the computational laboratories and find the best IT solutions for our research and education at the new Institute for Drug Discovery in Leipzig. In terms of research, I’m interested in machine learning, how well artificial neuronal networks solve their tasks, and where the limitations of these networks lie.
